Bio

Angela has recently just moved her family and studio back from a six-year walk-about throughout B.C.'s interior. A city slicker at heart, she realized that rounding out her life experiences would not only benefit her but enable her two young boys to appreciate nature and acquire life skills not easily obtained in the city. Having learned how to operate a tractor, saddle a horse in a windstorm, and build a rabbit hutch from nothing but a wooden window and a set of drawers, she has come back to the West Coast with a few more laugh lines and some great inspiration.

Prior to having her two sons, Angela painted theatrical sets for both TV and feature film where she was able to create massive painted backdrops and provide custom art pieces used as props and set dressing . Now having returned from her art studio in the country, she now enjoys applying her artistic skills designing theatrical sets using both traditional drawing boards and technology such as Computer Aided drafting, 3D modeling, and Photoshop.

Angela's true passion is expression through texture and paint.  When not working in film design, she is happy producing and showcasing her paintings throughout galleries and public spaces in Vancouver and beyond.

When not painting, she can be found living the dream at her self-designed and built mountainside abode surrounded by her three dogs, three pygmy goats, and a flock of unruly chickens.
